CONSTRUCTION

This section highlights my experience working within the construction process through site coordination, documentation, and collaboration with project teams. The work presented here reflects my direct involvement in construction-phase activities, bridging drawings and built work through coordination with architects, contractors, engineers, and project managers. My approach emphasizes material understanding, sequencing, and construction workflows, while supporting project delivery from the owner and construction-administration perspective.

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

Construction administration within my work centers on coordinating construction-phase efforts through communication, documentation, and field engagement. This includes active participation in owner–architect–contractor workflows to align design intent, field conditions, and project requirements. The emphasis is on collaboration, accountability, and responsiveness as projects move from drawings to built outcomes.

FOCUS AREAS:

  • Participation in owner–architect–contractor (OAC) meetings

  • Coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers

  • Site walkthroughs and field observation

  • Review of construction-phase documentation and correspondence

  • Support for issue tracking, clarification, and decision-making

PROJECT DELIVERY

Project delivery within my work focuses on how projects move from concept to completion within real-world constraints. This includes coordinating across teams, tracking milestones, and engaging directly with the construction process to help projects advance efficiently. My role emphasizes aligning scope, schedule, and expectations across disciplines to support steady progress and successful outcomes.

FOCUS AREAS:

  • Support for construction schedules and milestone tracking

  • Coordination across multidisciplinary project teams

  • Insight into sequencing and construction workflows

  • Tracking of budget, scope, and delivery constraints

  • Provide timely communication and follow-through

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

My project management experience centers on working within the organizational and administrative systems that support successful construction projects, particularly in public, institutional, and commercial contexts. This work emphasizes coordination, accountability, and documentation from the owner’s perspective, supporting informed decision-making throughout the construction phase.

FOCUS AREAS:

  • Support for owner-side project management workflows

  • Review of pay applications, change orders, and testing reports

  • Coordination with consultants, utilities, and authorities

  • Tracking project correspondence and documentation

  • Understanding delivery processes and requirements

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION

Technical documentation and visualization within my work focuses on developing, interpreting, and communicating design intent through both drawings and visual models. This includes producing and reviewing construction documents, coordinating 2D drafting with 3D modeling, and translating documented details into a buildable understanding. My approach emphasizes clarity, accuracy, craft, and coordination to support effective communication across design, construction, and owner teams.

Drawings, models, and visual studies are used to support understanding at multiple stages of a project—from documentation and coordination to construction review and communication—bridging technical precision with visual clarity to align expectations and support informed decision-making.

FOCUS AREAS:

  • Construction Documents & 2D Drafting
Development, review, and interpretation of architectural construction documents.

  • 3D Modeling & Visualization
Creation of 3D models, renderings, and walkthroughs to support coordination and spatial clarity.

  • Design–Construction Coordination
Aligning design intent with field conditions, sequencing, and multidisciplinary input.

  • Detailing, Materials & Assemblies
Study and documentation of details, materials, and building assemblies.

  • Technical Communication
Using drawings and visuals to clearly communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
